Hey guys,
I thought it would be a nice idea to participate in the "what's in my bag?"-tag so I cleaned out my bag to show you what I usually carry around with me.
1 - The first thing is the bag itself. I'm a huge fan of handbags, especially just casual fake leather black ones with some gold or silver, and this one is currently my favourite. It is not huge but I still can carry a lot of stuff around which I really like. I once crammed my parka inside so... a lot of space inside, even though it doesn't look like it. I got this back about a year ago at Primark and have been using it almost on a daily basis.
2 - One of the things I always have in my bag is a small deodorant. Right now I'm using the Adidas for women - control ultra protection cool & care and I absolutely love the smell of it. I use this on a daily basis just to fresh myself up in school or at work. It's also pretty small which makes it perfect for carrying around, because it won't take up much space and isn't heavy.
3 - The next item is a winter essential for me. It's my Handy Gurugu hand cream from Lush and there is nothing better for me. The smell is just amazing - kind of like forrest and very wintery and it really helps my dry hands. Lush is one of my favourite shops and a great thing about this is, that every product there is made without animal testing.
The price is around € 11,00, but you really don't need much of it. I use mine at least twice a day (if I have to work sometimes more) for five weeks and I have used maybe 1/10 of it!
4 - My wallet is probably the most essential thing I have in my bag and this is actually a new one. I got it for Christmas from my grandpa and I think it is absolutely adorable. The bright red colour makes it a real highlight in my opinion and those little pendants make it even cuter. When I cleared out my last purse I realised that it really contains everything from me - my ID, my drivers license, my credit cards, my health insurance card and yes, sometime even money.
5 - Another thing I carry around with me is my tangle teaser which I got from my local drugstore and honestly I just wanted to know what everybody was talking about and now I know and love it! Since my hair is pretty damaged from all the bleaching and colouring I needed something that won't stress my hair as much as a usual brush. I can really recommend buying one of those, they fit in every purse and will help untangling your hair so much.
6 - After my purse this is certainly another essential, because yes I am one of those people who won't leave their hose without their phones. I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 and it really is my little baby. I got this cute case from Amazon and it again shows my love to penguins (maybe I'm a little obsessed...) If my purse doesn't contain everything from me, my phone surely does. There are over 3,000 pictures, all my contacts and all my apps and without it I would be stranded without it.
I bought this case on Amazon for € 7,85.
7 - Another thing I wouldn't leave my house without is my iPod. It's an iPod nano 7G and I got it for christmas last year after my iPod nano 3G stopped working after five years. It is pink and even though the display is cracked it still works. I use it on a daily basis and it currently contains 1,550 songs. (yes, I checked)
8 - Since I wanted to be more organised in 2015, which you could read about in my new years resolutions blogpost I got an adorable little planer. I think the cupcake on the cover is super cute and I really try to use it regularly. So every blogging idea, my work schedule or exams is written in there.
I also got this from Amazon (am I addicted to online shopping?) for about € 6,00.
9 - And last but not least I usually have my keys in my bag. Even though I forgot them multiple times (thank you mum for always opening the door for me!) I usually really have them with me. There is my car key, my door keys and a lot of key chains. I collect key chains from every city I go to so there are a lot on my key (even though I already lost a few or put some somewhere else because my key was really heavy..)
So, that's in my bag. Typically there are also some papers in my bags or some tram tickets but since I just cleaned my bag there aren't any.
What are your bag essentials or things you don't leave the house without?
See you soon,
Juley
